This scale model showcases the new pipe spreader machine recently developed by RAM Spreaders and presented to their customer Spliethoff. At 1:30 scale the model is approximately 400mm long, with a simple flat colour gloss finish and livery to clearly present the different elements of the spreader with accurate colour representation without overcomplicating the finish. The model is made using a combination of SLA 3D printing (resin), FDM 3D printing (ABS plastic) and traditional model making techniques, presented on a black acrylic base within a clear acrylic display case.
